All soaps are handwrapped in our custom designed Pamper&Preen chartreuse Orchid Giftwrap, aswell as our boxed Giftsets we can gift wrap any item for a small fee including adding little notes to the recipient, just ask us and we will see what we can do.

What is Cold Process Soap?

Cold process is the modern take on the traditional way of making soap, years ago this is how soap was made from such erm..luxurious things like Animal fats and other delights. The results were very harsh drying soaps. These days we calculate exact formulas for our soaps to give us specific qualities that we want from our soaps, the amount of lather, conditioning properties and so on meaning gentle soaps that nourish the skin.

Cold process soap making involves a creating a reaction that turns Butters and Oils into Soap (Saponification). The soapy mixture is poured into a mould and left to set, once set the soap is cut into individual bars and left to cure and become mild over a minimum of 4 weeks.
Did you know that most soap you puchase isn't soap at all but skin stripping detergents. When a soap says it's PH neutral it isn't soap at all, infact its impossible for soap to be PH neutral its just a ploy to get you to buy harsh, drying detergent soaps. A whole lotta love not to mention the very finest Luxury Oils, Butters and Botanicals go into our Pamper&Preen soaps, once you use them you wont go back!
